We have received notification from cPanel that the prices of licenses will rise on 1st January 2024. The cost of a cPanel license has been rising for the last few years since cPanel introduced volume licensing. cPanel prices rose in January 2022, January 2023 and now January 2024. F2H absorbed the last price increase for cPanel licenses in 2023 but, we’re unable to absorb the rise in 2024. We are, therefore, forced to raise the cost of our cPanel licenses. From 1st January 2024, the cost of cPanel licenses will be as follows;
- cPanel Solo (1 account) – £20.00 / month
- cPanel Admin (5 accounts) – £34.99 /month
- cPanel Pro (30 accounts) – £48.99 /month
- cPanel Premier (100 accounts) – £65.99 /month
- Bulk Pricing £0.50 per additional account
Beat the cPanel Price Increase with a Shared cPanel Server
We believe that cPanel is pricing many people out of the software with such vigorous price increases. Other control panels like DirectAdmin don’t provide the same user experience as cPanel and are, therefore, not an option for many people. To help combat this, we’re introducing Shared cPanel Servers. By owners sharing a cPanel server, this will distribute the cost of the software among a group of people with a low server:tenant ratio. Never more than 200 accounts per server and secured with CloudLinux to ensure fair resource distribution and server stability.
For customers who are running cPanel solo, admin and in some cases pro cPanel licenses, it may be cost-effective to switch to a shared cPanel server. You will receive access to WHM and cPanel together with Litespeed, Sitepad, Jetbackup and other software which is managed by F2H on our servers. There are no license fees for cPanel or other software charged to customers and it’s highly available.
